IÉSEG School of Management is a Grande École and thus is part of an elite group of French higher education institutions. Of the 63 business schools in France that have a Grande École program, IÉSEG is among the 14 that have received AACSB and EQUIS accreditations. In 2014, L’Express – L’Etudiant ranked IÉSEG 3rd for academic excellence among the Grandes Écoles. IÉSEG belongs to the selective Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE). The CGE is a French national institution, created in 1973. Established in 1964 in Lille, the school has a second campus in Paris at La Défense, European biggest business hub. The School has a total of more than 3800 students on both campuses.
At IÉSEG students have access to the 5-year Grande Ecole Program: A 3-year Bachelor program covering the fundamentals of management followed by a 2-year MSc program in which the students deepen their management knowledge and choose a specialization. The diploma approved by the French Ministry of Education has also been awarded the grade de Master (Master’s degree).
IÉSEG also offers Bachelor, Post-Graduates and MBA programs entirely taught in English.

In 1978, IÉSEG pioneered the first 5-year Grande École program. It is still one of the few academic institutions in France to offer a 3-year Business Administration bachelor’s program followed by a 2-year Management Science master’s program, leading towards a degree recognized by the French government.

Bachelor in International Business
The Bachelor in International Business is designed for students interested in management and international business. They will be taught to manage projects for international companies and to operate in complex business environments in an ethically responsible and sustainable way. The Bachelor in International Business program consists of 6 semesters of coursework, including an option for an exchange with one of our university partners.
Personal development courses through sport and cultural activities foster the development of managerial skills and key competencies. During their third year of the bachelor students will have the opportunity to choose electives in areas such as marketing, financial reporting and analysis, international negotiation, capital markets, and international project management.
3 internships totaling 7 months of progressive work experience means that the students graduate with professional connections and experience. There are three internships in total with each taking place at the end of the academic year. The goal is to provide a wide range of company experience and teach students how to approach assignments and working relationships in a professional environment.
The first internship is one-month long and concentrates on gaining experience in labor, such as working on the factory floor. The second one is three-months long and the work experience will be at a junior assistant level. During the last three-month internship students will be working at a junior manager level.
IÉSEG has a merit-based International Scholarship Program with a tuition waiver of 10 to 25% per year. Selection is based on the applicant’s previous academic performance and overall application portfolio. The scholarship application is automatic; students do not need to apply separately.
MSc Postgraduate programs
IÉSEG’s postgraduate programs portfolio is designed for students willing to live a fully cross-cultural and international experience. IÉSEG’s MSc programs are taught entirely in English and cater especially to international students. They cover the following areas:
