ELECTRONIC CHART DISPLAY AND INFORMATION SYSTEM (ECDIS) ROOM
This Maritime Academy state-of-the-art ECDIS system offers the standard STCW training framework for deck cadets, which shall substantially
assist them in gaining the ability of making crucial decisions for safe vessel navigation. cadets of the Maritime Academy. Firstly, the simulation includes the Engine Room, which enables the execution of all engine functions in 3D visualization using touch screen panels. With four work stations, cadets are allowed to train in a photorealistic engine room, equivalent to two engine types (Dual Fuel Diesel- Electric LNG Carrier και MAN B&W 6S60MC-C Diesel Engine-Tanker LCC) and familiarize themselves with engine equipment and systems in an interactive manner.
